We have partnered with Mr. Martin Kruse on our alternative/green energy projects for many years and continue to do so. Key competence is evaluating all potential solutions and often implementing custom solutions.

Ergon Utility Solutions CC (Ergon) is owned by Mr. M Kruse, a registered professional engineer with 20 years’ experience in the field of industrial scale energy systems, e.g., steam and power plants, as well as energy efficiency improvements to reduce operating costs for industry. Ergon specialises in efficient and reliable smaller scale hot water solutions using a wide range of technologies ranging from solar, natural gas, electrical, heat recovery, biomass, heat pumps, etc.

By evaluating many options for a particular client, it is possible to find the best fit. Ergon brings industrial scale sophistication to smaller scale projects at extremely competitive pricing because all design and installation is managed in-house. The result is all these high efficiency solutions are offered at industry best pricing.

Ergon also offers BOO (build own operate) solutions where Ergon installs the equipment at a client and does all operation and maintenance selling only the energy to the client. An example is a custom-built industrial scale heat pump combined with heat recovery at a large tannery in City Deep, where Ergon has been supplying hot water for the past 13 years.

    • Mr. Ralph Gordon – Buro Tech Consulting Engineers

    We have partnered with Mr. Ralph Gordon on our larger electrical specific reticulation projects and where applicable, Solar projects.

    Ralph is a Professional Engineering Technologist at Buro Tech Consulting Engineers and has substantial experience in the Utility metering/billing environment as well. He is a member of the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) – Pr Techn Eng, Reg No: 2019300554.
