Utility management in principle is simply the maximisation of recoveries for any multi-unit
premises receiving a bulk supply invoice from a municipality. Dolk Consulting achieves this through the following services:
1. CONSULTING
Provide on-going analysis and implementation of the most cost-effective tariffs, site assessments and other utility related matters.
2. COUNCIL SERVICES
Support and services including, but not limited to:
2.1. Assistance with dispute resolution, metering queries and general administration.
2.2. Invoice Validation – check and reconcile Utility invoices paid.
2.3. Invoice Query – where incorrect utility invoices have been identified DC will liaise
with Supply Authorities to correct these and where possible, recover overpayments.
3. TENANT SERVICES
Attend to tenant utility matters including calculation of monthly charges, provision of monthly billing data in the requisite format, billing queries, tariff selection and metering.
4. RECOVERY SERVICES
Develop and implement strategies and systems to maximise the recoveries of utilities and ensure accurate apportionment of common area charges.
5. METERING SERVICES
Supply and installation of prepaid or conventional metering, including meter reading, meter installation for tenants and common areas and integrity monitoring (where DC recommended systems are installed). This includes automated anomaly reports and utility related compliance checks.
6. REPORTING
Periodically reports will be structured in conjunction with Client and submitted on a monthly basis.
